Qualified third on the grid in the Zakspeed up against the TWR Jaguar ex Win Percy, XJS touring car and Sean Brown’s MK1 Escort.  I took the lead into Redgate dominating the first half of the race.  After a driver change, Dave Coyne continued to lead the grid until the last few laps when Alex Buncombe passed him in his TWR – but he spun on the last lap giving us a win and podium finish.

I also had the opportunity to race Chris Scragg’s E Type 3.8 Roadster – starting on the grid in sixth place, I’d got up to fourth, when the race was red flagged and stopped due to a series of accidents.
